National Grid has been a long time sponsor of the REC Earth Day Cleanups. Thanks to their generosity, we have been able to grow our annual cleanups from one site with a handful of volunteers to a city wide celebration that at our peak, included 70 sites and more than 1,000 volunteers.
This year we are expecting 50 cleanup sites with around 500 volunteers. National Grid will be joining in on the festivities, as they have in years past.
National Grid is committed to creating a clean, fair, and affordable energy future for our Worcester community and beyond. They’re investing in wind and solar, modernizing their system to connect customers to renewable energy, exploring innovative heating technologies, and so much more.
