Farmers Market Winter Shift Lead
Join the Regional Environmental Council (REC) as a Farmers Market Winter Shift Lead and support our mission to increase community food security. This temporary, part-time position runs from January 6 to May 2, 2025, offering 25-30 hours per week at $20/hour. You’ll play a vital role in our Mobile Farmers Market operations, including market setup, breakdown, and customer service. The Shift Lead role will have additional responsibilities to take on a leadership role in the
management of market sites.
This role is ideal for someone passionate about food justice, who enjoys working outdoors and with diverse communities. A valid driver’s license, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and availability between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. are required. Multilingual candidates and those with experience in farming or farmers markets are encouraged to apply.
