Cultivate a Lasting Legacy
Welcome to the Sustainable Harvest Society, where your lasting legacy takes root and grows into a thriving future. By including our organization in your estate plans through planned giving, you play a pivotal role in nurturing sustainable communities and empowering future generations of youth leaders and food justice advocates. The Sustainable Harvest Society offers a meaningful way to leave a lasting impact on communities in Central MA.
There are a variety of methods for you to make a commitment to sustaining the REC far into the future. Some common methods for making a planned gift are a beneficiary designation on a life insurance policy, a bequest in your will or living trust, retirement assets (IRA beneficiary), charitable gift annuities, or a gift of savings bonds.
To invest in the future of youth development, urban farming, and food security in Central MA, please consult your financial advisor and/or attorney to decide which method of planned giving makes the most sense for a legacy gift to the Regional Environmental Council. We would be happy to join you for this conversation.
By notifying the Regional Environmental Council about your planned gift and joining our Sustainable Harvest Society. You'll receive:
-
Personal invitation to events
-
Special program updates from our Executive Director
-
Recognition in our annual report and other publications
Should you name the Regional Environmental Council as a beneficiary in your will or trust, we would welcome a copy of the legal document or section of the document that accompanies your gift. This can make estate administration easier when your gift is received.
Join us in cultivating healthy, sustainable, and equitable communities by becoming a part of the Sustainable Harvest Society. Your commitment today establishes the roots for a resilient and equitable world for generations to come.
