Pay a few extra dollars on your Massachusetts Electric bill to offset your electricity use with clean power. The exact cost depends on the amount of electricity you use and is typically between $4-$12 per month. If you are not a Massachusetts Electric customer you may still purchase clean energy - the difference is that you will be billed seperately from your electric bill.

Why Act Now?

Your energy dollars will be brought back to your city.
The additional cost that you pay for clean energy will be matched by the Massachusetts Technology Collaborative and given to the city in the form of grants to fund clean energy projects. Click here for more info.

Climate Change and Air Pollution
Most scientists now agree that human greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions are contributing to climate change and global warming. On February 16 the international treaty to reduce GHG emissions, the Kyoto Protocal, went into effect - without the support of the United States federal government. States and local communities, however, have recognized the need to reduce GHG emissions and air pollution, and both the State of MA and the City of Worcester have begun taking steps to clean thier air and mitigate the harmful effects of climate change. Click here for more info on the pollution cuased by the electric industry and its health effects.
