our story

The Regional Environmental Council (REC) is a nonprofit food justice organization with a 53 year history of working for environmental sustainability and social justice in Worcester.

 

Our programs include Urban Garden Resources of Worcester (UGROW) Community and School Gardens, Community and Mobile Farmers Markets, and Youth Growing Organics in Worcester (YouthGROW), a youth employment and urban agriculture program for Worcester teens.

Mobile Market schedules

Shop fresh, local and affordable produce at one of our 

9 Mobile Market locations across Worcester and Webster. Our winter schedule runs begins January 14th - May 1, 2025.
